‘Barbershop’ broadcasts live from Snoqualmie Casino

950 KJR, Seattle’s Entertaining Sports Talk station, announced the launch of The Barbershop, a new evening sports radio talk show that will broadcast Wednesdays from 6 – 8:30 p.m., effective July 20, 2016. The show will be presented by Snoqualmie Casino and will broadcast live and remote from the casino every Wednesday before Seahawks home games.

The Barbershop will feature on-air personalities Marcus Trufant, WSU Cougar and Seattle Seahawk, and Terry “T-Holla” Hollimon, a UW Husky. Programming will include a unique take on local and national sports news with first-hand experience and insight from Trufant and Hollimon, as well as candid interviews with athletes and celebrities in the sports industry. The show will create a laid back and conversational environment that emulates a traditional barbershop.

“We’re so excited to host The Barbershop and continue what we love to do,” said Trufant. “We wanted to create a show that could cover sports news in a fun way that goes beyond just stats and facts, and we know it will connect with local sports fans.”

“We think The Barbershop will be a great opportunity for Seahawks fans to really get excited and engage themselves with the team, and we can’t wait to host the show,” said Hollimon.

950 KJR is a leading media outlet in the Seattle market and its programming and content are available across multiple platforms. Sports fans can listen to 950 KJR from the station’s website, http://sportsradiokjr.iheart.com, as well as on iHeartRadio.com.
