Snoqualmie Casino’s Sixth Anniversary Celebration

A recap of our exciting festivities which included incredible prizes and an intimate evening with an unplugged performance by the Little River Band and more.

SNOQUALMIE, Wash. (Nov. 2014) – The Snoqualmie Casino, owned and operated by the Snoqualmie Tribe, celebrated six years of operation this November. In honor of this momentous occasion, a two week long celebration occurred featuring giveaways that included 6 brand new 2014 Ford vehicles- including a fully loaded F-150 and the coveted Roush Stage-3 Mustang, a $60,000 cash giveaway and an exclusive invitation-only evening featuring The Little River Band.

After 3 days of giveaways, the grand finale culminated when Karla Ferris, one of 6 guests selected for a chance to win the Roush Mustang, picked the correct set of keys that unlocked the doors in front of an enthusiastic crowd of well-wishers.

“I was so nervous. I never thought I would win a grand prize in my whole life, let alone a car,” she said. “This has been the best night!”

The following evening, invited guests mingled with members of the Snoqualmie Casino executive team, sipped on Champagne and enjoyed hand-crafted hors d’oeuvres created by the executive chef at Terra Vista, Snoqualmie Casino’s fine dining restaurant.

Sharon Frelinger, one of the Snoqualmie Tribal Council Members, presented guests with handmade dream catchers. Each special gift was crafted by Snoqualmie Tribal members to express their deep appreciation for guests’ patronage and support. Following the gifts a speech was given by Jon Jenkins, chief executive officer and president of Snoqualmie Casino. He expressed deep gratitude to the crowd and thanked them “for the opportunity to get to know and entertain you during these past six years.”

As the perfect end to a wonderful celebration, The Little River Band fittingly began their unplugged concert with their hit song “Happy Anniversary.”
