‘Service Pets for Veterans’ Charity Concert

Seattle, WA – On Veterans Day, Nov. 11, Snoqualmie Casino celebrated a unique event; its first-ever Service Pets for Veterans charity concert hosted by Seattle’s only country radio station, 100.7 The Wolf. The event was part of a fundraising effort, with all ticket sales benefitting Northwest Battle Buddies, a local charity that provides service dogs to Veterans with disabilities.

Gary LeVox, best known as the lead singer of Rascal Flatts, took to the stage to perform, with country acoustic trio Runaway June as his opener.

The event was a huge success, raising over $250,000. $60,000 of which was directly from ticket sales, with an additional $8,000 raised in a live auction.

The event coincided with other Veterans Day initiatives including a flag raising ceremony for both Veteran team members and the wider Veteran community. This year, they warmly received an incredible 360 Veterans who enjoyed a meal at the restaurant.
