Construction officially underway on massive Snoqualmie Casino expansion and new luxury hotel.
Snoqualmie, Wash (July 6, 2022) Cumming Group, an international construction consultancy, and Seattle-based general contractor Skanska, have kicked off construction of the Snoqualmie Casino expansion and new luxury hotel. The $400 million expansion will provide the Greater Seattle area with an unmatched gaming and hospitality destination as well as additional jobs for the local community.
Providing project management, cost, and scheduling consulting services, Cumming’s regional team of construction experts will be instrumental in making sure the complex multi-phase project is completed within the accelerated timeline despite today’s volatile market. Cumming is currently overseeing Phase One, which includes the construction of various site improvements, the Casino’s valet entrance, associated buildings, and parking facilities, to provide ample space for the nearly 1.2 million square feet of renovations and expansion set to be completed in two years.
“The new Snoqualmie Casino expansion will provide a significant boost to the local community through immediate job creation and will soon provide a much-needed hotel offering with new convention, concert, and meeting spaces,” said Scott Hebert, senior project manager at Cumming. “We could not be more excited to bring this caliber of resort experience to Snoqualmie.”
Located at 37500 SE North Bend Way, Snoqualmie Casino will be expanding to add a new 210 -key high-end hotel, an additional 11,000 square feet of gaming floor space, an immersive full-service spa, fitness center and indoor pool with outdoor deck, an expansive 2,000-seat entertainment and convention center, a new onsite parking structure, and two brand new restaurants.
Committed to hiring local contractors for the project, the development team is currently looking for local skilled trades. The Snoqualmie casino expansion and hotel addition was designed by Bergman Walls & Associates. Bergman Walls & Associates included architectural details inspired by Snoqualmie culture from a modern slant roof hotel design representing the original longhouses of the Snoqualmie Tribe’s ancestors to carefully chosen artwork placed throughout the resort for guests to enjoy.
The Snoqualmie Indian Tribe is a federally recognized tribe in the Puget Sound region of Washington State.
